Rimonabant.
Rimonabant is usually prescribed if you need to lose a lot of weight (usually this will be a case of obesity). You may be prescribed this medicine if you are obese and have trouble fighting your food cravings. Obesity is a problem that already affected millions of people, and the main problem they experience is fighting their food cravings – overeating is the main reason why it's so difficult to lose weight. Rimonabant works by reducing your food cravings significantly, so you can do with a lot less food, feeling full and not getting extreme hunger – provided that you take rimonabant exactly as prescribed. Rimonabant will only be efficient if you combine it with a healthier diet and regular exercise – otherwise you may not get the result you need. Take rimonabant at the same time every day to make sure it stays at the same level in your bloodstream. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medications, especially any of the following ones: carbamazeptine, phenobarbital, ketaconazole, ritonavir, itraconazole, telithromycin, phenytoin, clarithromycin, or nefazodone. Since rimonabant has been reported to cause interactions with some of the drug mentioned, it's best to avoid combining them.
